Zhongnan Jiating May Community Service Station News
On the morning of May 20, 2017, the Zhongnan Jiating Comprehensive Service Center organized a "Happy Volunteer Day" activity for volunteers. The purpose of this activity was to enhance communication and exchange between volunteers and staff, strengthen new volunteers' understanding and awareness of service work, and enhance team cohesion. This activity attracted 7 volunteers to participate.
Volunteers who participated in this activity came to our station early. Many volunteers started chatting as soon as they met, and the atmosphere was lively. The main content of this activity was for volunteers to participate in team handicraft making. Through making handicrafts themselves, volunteers not only experienced the fun of creation but also promoted cooperation and tacit understanding among them. During the activity, under the guidance of the instructor, volunteers were divided into two groups, with one person responsible for making paper flowers and the other responsible for gluing. Everyone cooperated and completed the handmade work successfully. At the end of the activity, while displaying their handmade works, the staff also shared their experiences and feelings about the process. One volunteer said, "I made a lot of new friends and experienced the joy of collaboration." Volunteers exchanged experiences and feelings about making handicrafts and gained a deeper understanding of volunteer service.
Through this activity, volunteers not only deepened their understanding of the volunteer team but also enhanced communication and exchange, increasing the team's cohesion.
